Who We Are?

Skillspark Youth Association is a government-recognized, not-for-profit organization incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. The Association is committed to empowering youth through structured skill development, vocational training, and capacity-building initiatives that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and long-term self-reliance. Through carefully designed workshops, seminars, and awareness programs, Skillspark addresses the critical gap between formal education and industry requirements. The organization actively collaborates with government agencies, educational institutions, and industry partners to create sustainable livelihood pathways and employment opportunities, with a strong focus on rural and underserved communities.

Mr. Suresh Kumar Khatreja

Founder & Director, Skillspark Youth Association

With over 35 years of leadership across global banking and premier consulting organizations, Mr. Suresh Kumar Khatreja brings world-class standards, governance, and execution to the mission of skill development. His distinguished career includes pivotal roles at Punjab National Bank, EY (USA), and MUFG Bank (India), where he led complex financial, audit, and risk management initiatives at an international level. Mr. Khatreja is among the most highly credentialed professionals in the industry, holding globally recognized qualifications including CPA, CAMS, CFE, CISA, CISSP, MBA, M.Com, and CAIIB. His deep expertise in finance, compliance, audit, and information security forms the institutional foundation of Skillspark Youth Association. After decades of navigating global financial systems, he chose to redirect his experience toward a higher purpose—social equity through education and skill empowerment. Alongside his wife, he established Skillspark Youth Association as a Section 8 non-profit dedicated to bridging the urban–rural opportunity divide and ensuring that rural youth gain access to the same quality of skills and professional exposure found in leading global hubs.

Mrs. Shashi Khatreja

For Mrs. Shashi Khatreja, social service is not a temporary initiative but a lifelong commitment. From an early age, she has been deeply engaged in philanthropic and community-based efforts, driven by the conviction that a society’s true strength lies in how it supports its most vulnerable members. Her leadership is characterized by empathy, resilience, and grassroots engagement. During the isolation and uncertainty of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mrs. Khatreja emerged as a unifying force within her community. Through motivational bhajans and digital outreach, she fostered hope and connection—an initiative that grew into a collective of over 150 women united by shared purpose, encouragement, and spiritual strength. Her dedication to education began at the grassroots level. Observing rural children without access to formal schooling, she personally took the initiative to teach them, recognizing that potential exists in every child regardless of circumstance. Today, as Director of Skillspark Youth Association, she channels this same commitment into a structured, scalable mission to uplift rural youth across India through education, skills training, and empowerment-driven programs.

As Co-Founder of Skillspark Youth Association, Mrs. Shashi Khatreja brings the human-centered ethos to the organization’s mission of “Igniting Potential, Tomorrow’s Leaders.” She firmly believes that lasting transformation begins at the community level and is sustained through compassion, dignity, and inclusion.

Community Leadership: Leads a women’s collective of over 150 members focused on spiritual growth, motivation, and social well-being.
Pandemic Resilience: Widely recognized for sustaining community morale during COVID-19 through motivational music and digital engagement.
Grassroots Education Advocate: Extensive experience in providing informal education to underprivileged rural children outside the formal schooling system.

Together with her husband, Mr. Suresh Kumar Khatreja, she co-founded Skillspark Youth Association to transform her passion for education and service into a nationwide youth empowerment movement. She ensures that every initiative remains anchored in the values of compassion, equity, and meaningful impact.
